Afrikans in science - Dr Ivan Van Sertima

If you’ve never had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Van Sertima, please take the time to watch this video.  I’ve had the privilege of personally attending one of his lectures while attending the University of Kentucky.  His speech peaked my interest in history and science and also religion.

I found his speech to be both entertaining and enlightening. If you take some time to watch I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Lecture given by Dr Ivan Van Sertima discussing African history and African Science. Opening quote:“I spent 4 years at the School of African and Oriental Studies, London University doing my first degree, and never once, never once in all those years did I learn did I learn anything about any African civilisation.“ Transferred from VHS so quality is not the best. Recorded in 1986 at Camden Town Hall, London. Caribbean Cultural International & Karnak House.

Thanks for the ideas shared on the blog. Something also important I would like to say is that weight reduction is not supposed to be about going on a dietary fad and trying to get rid of as much weight as possible in a few months. The most effective way to burn fat is by using it slowly and using some basic ideas which can make it easier to make the most through your attempt to shed weight. You may be aware and be following most of these tips, although reinforcing understanding never hurts.
